Chubb has announced the appointment of Jon Longmore as Country President of Malaysia, effective from early November, pending regulatory approvals. He will succeed Stephen Crouch, who has been named as Head of Government Affairs for Asia Pacific.
Longmore first joined Chubb 13 years ago and is currently serving as Country President of Chubb General Insurance Indonesia, a position he has held since 2020. In his new role, Longmore will be based in Kuala Lumpur and continue reporting to Marcos Gunn, Regional President for APAC.
“Jon is an experienced international insurance professional with a track record of driving sustainable business growth,” said Gunn. “His keen focus on innovation and passion for building teams position him well to further grow our business in Malaysia.”
In Indonesia, Adrianto Gunawan, Chief Financial Officer, will serve as interim Country President while the search for a permanent successor is conducted, Chubb said in its announcement.
