Domo Insurance, a new Australian brokerage, has launched in Melbourne, offering comprehensive insurance solutions using a tech-driven approach.
Domo was founded by industry veterans John Paul Whitbread, Will Dunn, and Eliza White, who will serve as Chairperson, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, respectively.
The brokerage offers a range of insurance solutions, including property and casualty, construction, personal clients, and specialty lines—such as marine, cyber, and bloodstock mortality.

White said that, in addition to the senior management team’s experience, domo had assembled a team of industry experts to service private clients and those in the property and construction industries.
Looking to the future, she said, “Our intention is to continue building-out industry specific verticals, further enhancing our capabilities in a range of markets.”
Whitbread brings over 30 years of experience in the Australian market to the position. His background includes roles at Zurich, GIO, Lloyd’s, as well as CEO at Whitbread Insurance Brokers. He also has experience as a co-founder of other businesses.
Dunn previously worked at Lloyd’s syndicate Talbot Risk Services in Singapore, where he was CEO from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, he spent five years with QBE Insurance in Hong Kong and Singapore.
White’s experience includes nearly five years at Honan Insurance in senior roles, including Head of Growth. Before that, she spent six years at Starr Insurance as an underwriter.
