Generali Hong Kong has expanded its efforts with its LGBTQI+ inclusion initiatives through a series of LGBTQI+ educational and awareness videos, which have accumulated over 5 million views, the insurer said.
Launched six months ago, the LGBTQI+ educational video series was produced in collaboration with G Dot TV, a Hong Kong-based platform focused on LGBTQI+ representation. The series features insights from LGBTQI+ individuals and allies
The video series is part of Generali Hong Kong’s broader diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, which also include efforts supporting gender diversity, neurodiversity, disability inclusion, and The Human Safety Net programme.
Ady Law, Chief Distribution and Marketing Officer of Generali Hong Kong, stated that the initiative supports the company’s inclusion efforts, saying, “this video series reflects Generali’s value of building an inclusive society where everyone feels valued and supported to express their true selve(s).”
Globally, Generali has implemented several initiatives for LGBTQI+ inclusion, including the employee resource group (ERG), WE PROUD, which facilitates knowledge-sharing and supports local business units in participating in Pride events and related initiatives.
