IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Company Limited (IFFCO Tokio) has announced that Subrata Mondal has been appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the business.
Mondal has been with IFFCO Tokio for 23 years, first joining the company in 2001. Most recently, he had been serving as Chief Underwriter, overseeing the company’s underwriting across different lines of business, while heading the Indian insurer’s risk management, product development, and reinsurance operations.
“Mondal’s appointment marks a new chapter for IFFCO Tokio, as the company seeks to build on its
strong foundation and expand its market presence,” the Indian insurer said in its announcement. “With his deep understanding of the company and the insurance sector as a whole, Mondal is expected to lead IFFCO Tokio toward continued success and innovation in delivering comprehensive insurance solutions.”
Mondal has over 36 years of industry experience across commercial insurance, risk management, underwriting, product development, and reinsurance. Before joining IFFCO Tokio, he also held roles with the National Insurance Company.
