Aon has announced the appointment of Tracy Lee Kus as the new Head of North Asia, which will see her oversee the broker’s operations in Japan and Korea. She will maintain her existing responsibilities as Head of Commercial Risk Solutions, Asia Pacific, and continue to be based in Singapore.
The move comes with Aon announcing three strategic appointments as part of an internal restructuring aimed at enhancing its operational efficiency and market focus across Asia, which has led to the creation of three new sub-regions.
Along with Kus as the Head of North Asia, Andrew Minnitt is taking on the leadership role for Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia and Darren Oliver has been appointed to head the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
In a statement published on LinkedIn, Aon outlined the strategic importance of Kus’s new responsibilities. “Building on the existing synergies and momentum between the two countries, Tracy-Lee will work closely with Tatsuya Yamamoto, Head of Aon Japan, and Kevin Kim, Head of Aon Korea to further advance our Aon United strategy focusing on delivering positive outcomes for our clients and colleagues.”
Kus, who has been with Aon for over 12 years, brings a wealth of experience to her expanded remit. She has served as the Head of Commercial Risk for Aon Asia Pacific for the last two and a half years and prior to her move to APAC she was with Aon in the United Kingdom as Head of Financial Lines.
Kus’s professional background also includes positions at Novae and AXI, as well as an earlier stint at Aon Risk Solutions.
