AXA XL Insurance has appointed Tavpraneet Singh as Chief Underwriting Officer, International Financial Lines, APAC & Europe, effective from 1 June, the business announced in a media release on 21 May.
He replaces Ana Dores, who in March took on a new role as Country Leader, Iberia for AXA XL.
Singh brings over 15 years of insurance industry experience to the role, most of which has been with AXA XL. Since August 2021, he has served as Regional Product Leader for Financial Lines & Cyber for APAC & Europe. Prior to that, he was Actuary and Head of Reserving for International Financial Lines from October 2018 to August 2021.
In his new position, Singh will oversee the management of AXA XL’s financial lines portfolio. He will work closely with local underwriting teams and be responsible for the underwriting strategy across Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Financial Institutions, Cyber, and Mergers & Acquisitions in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
