Howden has appointed Eugene Lim as head of tax insurance for Asia, the company announced on LinkedIn on Thursday.
Lim joins Howden from Marsh Asia, where he spent more than five years in senior tax risk roles. Most recently, he served as head of tax risk for Asia and senior vice president in private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) services. Prior to Marsh, he worked at PwC for nearly a decade as a senior manager in corporate tax advisory, with a focus on real estate.
Based in Singapore, Lim will lead Howden’s tax advisory and tax insurance capabilities across the region, supporting clients on tax risk considerations linked to transactions, restructurings, and ongoing operations, according to the company.
The appointment forms part of a broader run of senior appointments and regional initiatives by Howden, including the appointment of Alaric Lee as chief commercial officer for Asia and Xianwei Lee as head of M&A for Asia.
