Aon has appointed Jukgrid Treesuttamas as senior adviser, Thailand, within its reinsurance solutions business, effective 1 April, according to a LinkedIn announcement by Soeren Soltysiak, CEO for reinsurance solutions at Aon Asia.

Based in Bangkok, Treesuttamas has more than 40 years of reinsurance experience. His expertise spans technical underwriting, broking, and advisory work, and he has held numerous senior leadership roles throughout his career.

“His deep expertise and market insights, and strong market relationships will be invaluable as he focuses on further strengthening our capabilities to help our Thai clients make better decisions to protect and grow their business,” Soltysiak said in the announcement.

The appointment follows a run of Asia leadership updates for Aon, including appointing Nazirah Din Taouk as regional director for marine, Asia, expanding Nick Chapman’s remit as marine risk engineering lead, Asia, and naming Nathan Cheung as director and head of construction, power and infrastructure in Hong Kong.
