ERGO Insurance Thailand has appointed Prasirt Rerkumnuaychok as chief distribution officer, effective 16 October 2026, the company announced on Tuesday.
Rerkumnuaychok joined ERGO after over five years at AIG Insurance (Thailand), most recently serving as chief agency officer. Before that, he worked at New Hampshire Insurance for 16 years, holding various roles.
He brings more than 20 years of industry experience and a track record of leading distribution initiatives, transformation projects, and broker and agency networks.
“In this role, he will lead our distribution strategy and sales channel transformation, with a focus on strengthening capabilities, empowering teams, expanding partnerships, and delivering profitable growth,” ERGO said on LinkedIn.
His appointment forms part of ERGO Thailand’s ongoing transformation and growth efforts. In March, the insurer appointed Waleerat Asavavongsatien as chief underwriting officer.
The insurer also appointed Isorasak Thesratanavong as chief executive officer in January 2025, effective 1 May. Thesratanavong joined from AIG, where he had served as CEO for Thailand since 2019.
