Bhatia joined the treasury and investments team at Niva Bupa in December 2015, most recently serving as fund manager, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Bhatia brings over 18 years of experience in the investment domain. Before joining Niva Bupa, he worked with Canara HSBC Life Insurance, Axis Maxlife Insurance, Future Generali Life Insurance and Pipal Research & Analytics.

“He oversees the investment portfolio at Niva Bupa and is responsible for generating superior risk-adjusted return, ensuring protection of capital, maintaining adequate liquidity of the portfolio and ensuring regulatory compliance,” Niva Bupa said in a stock exchange announcement.
