Lockton on Friday announced the appointment of Li Lin Kea as head of cargo and logistics, regional transportation – Asia, and the promotion of Cindy Khoo to head of marine and offshore, regional transportation – Asia, both based in Singapore, strengthening its marine and transportation capabilities across the region.

Li joins from Aon, where she most recently served as head of marine, Singapore, overseeing all marine lines and playing a key role in building the Singapore cargo retail business while supporting cargo and logistics programme placements across Asia.

In her new role effective 8 January 2026, she will report to Sung Wook Han, head of marine and transportation – Asia, and will be responsible for formulating and executing the growth strategy for the firm’s cargo and logistics business while leading a centre of excellence to support Lockton offices across the region.

Li brings more than 15 years of experience in marine insurance, with extensive expertise in marine cargo, stock throughput and logistics liability, alongside a track record of structuring large and complex multinational programmes to deliver sustainable growth across diverse industries.

“[Li’s] extensive experience and proven success in the marine and cargo insurance sectors will further enhance our capabilities across Asia,” Sung commented on the appointment. “We are confident that Li Lin’s leadership will drive innovation and create greater value for our clients and partners in the region.”

Meanwhile, Khoo will also report to Sung and lead Lockton’s specialised hull and protection and indemnity teams in Singapore and support offices across Asia to expand marine and offshore risks.

Khoo joined the broker in March 2025 as head of business development and has since been instrumental in driving the growth of its marine and offshore energy business across Singapore and wider Asia and strengthening its presence in the critical sector.

“Cindy’s promotion reflects her exceptional contributions, leadership, and dedication to Lockton’s clients and teams. Her expertise and strategic approach will undoubtedly propel the growth of our Marine and Offshore business in the region,” Lockton said in a statement.
