Lockton has launched its Market Management Group function in Asia (MMG), hiring Richard Turner as the Asia Head of MMG, effective from August 21.
Turner joins Lockton after over five years with Howden, where he successfully built and led a team of four, managing 19 key strategic partners across the Asia region, Lockton said in its announcement.
In his new role, Turner reports directly to Warren Merritt, CEO of Lockton Asia, and is responsible for establishing Lockton Asia’s carrier management function in the region.
“Richard’s proven track record in managing key stakeholders and forming strategic partnerships, leveraging data analysis and market intelligence, will be instrumental in driving Lockton Asia’s growth,” the global independent brokerage said in its announcement.
Turner brings with him over a decade of industry experience, including time at Hiscox and Aon prior to his spell at Howden.
