Market Lane Insurance Group has appointed Kaleb Forster as an underwriter in its Liability team in Melbourne, the company announced on LinkedIn on Thursday.
Forster joins Market Lane after his return to Keystone Underwriting in October 2024. Before this, he was an insurance broker at Ambris in London.
Forster’s role will focus on underwriting liability risks as part of the group’s targeted growth strategy in Australia’s insurance landscape, the managing general agent (MGA) said.
His appointment also comes as Market Lane looks to build out its specialty offering and footprint in the country. Among other developments last year, the business entered the standalone legal expenses insurance market in November, launched Square Mile Corporate Risks in June, and introduced ML Specialty in May.
