Sedgwick Australia has appointed Michael Guy as Executive Adjuster and Leader for its Major and Complex Loss (MCL) Queensland operations, the loss adjuster announced in a statement on LinkedIn.
Guy has moved to Brisbane for the role from Toronto, Canada, where he worked for Charles Taylor for almost 16 years, most recently as Managing Director, Canada.
He brings over 25 years of experience in claims adjusting, with expertise in technical loss adjusting across commercial property, construction, environmental, complex liability, and cyber and technology risks.
“Michael’s dedication to quality, transparency and development shines through his proven track record in recruitment, training and mentorship, as well as his emphasis on exceptional customer service and building lasting partnerships,” Sedgwick said in its announcement.
Before Charles Taylor, Guy worked as a Senior Loss Adjuster for Crawford & Company and prior to that at The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company, according to LinkedIn.
