New executive directors for general and long term business appointed at Insurance Authority

Hong Kong’s Insurance Authority (IA) on Friday announced that the Government has appointed MM Lee as Executive Director of General Business and Marty Lui as Executive Director of Long Term Business.

Stephen Yiu, Chairman of the IA, commented, “Mr Lee and Mr Lui have shown unwavering commitment and visionary leadership in enhancing the robustness of our regulatory system for protection of policy holders.

I am confident that they will integrate seamlessly into the senior management team and deliver positive outcomes in pursuance of our corporate strategy to promote balanced growth of the insurance market in Hong Kong.”

Both appointments are for a term of three years, the IA said.
