WTW has named Luke Ware as Head of Asia, expanding his responsibilities beyond his current role as Head of Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB), Asia. The appointment takes effect immediately, the firm announced Tuesday (14 May).
Based in Singapore, Ware will continue to report to Pamela Thomson-Hall, Head of International at WTW.
In his dual capacity, Ware will work across WTW’s Risk & Broking and Health, Wealth & Career businesses to drive client-focused innovation, support cross-functional collaboration, and advance the company’s regional growth agenda.
Ware has over 20 years of experience in broking and risk management, having held leadership positions in the insurance sector across Australia, London, and Asia. He has been instrumental in expanding WTW’s CRB footprint across Asia since assuming the regional leadership role.
“Luke’s ability to drive performance, while fostering collaboration across teams, makes him ideally suited to accelerate WTW’s growth and enhance the value we bring to our clients and colleagues in Asia,” said Thomson-Hall.
Commenting on the appointment, Ware said he was “honoured” to take on the expanded remit and emphasised the importance of delivering tailored, regionally relevant solutions amid today’s complex risk environment.
