Allianz Trade announced on Thursday that Harry Edwards has been promoted to the role of ASEAN Commercial Director, effective 21 October 2024.
For his new role, Edwards will relocate to Singapore to oversee commercial activities in six ASEAN countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. He succeeds Céline Peredy, who has transitioned to the role of Strategic Account Director for Allianz Trade for Multinationals.
Edwards first joined Allianz Trade in 2015 as a New Business Underwriter in London. After more than six years, he moved to Dubai to serve as Head of Portfolio for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Currently, he is Head of Distribution in the Middle East, focusing on sales activation, strategy, and product awareness.
