For the APAC region, Thakker will head the steering team comprising Tony Lim, CEO of Acclaim in Singapore; David Withers, Managing Principal of PSC in Australia; Simon Wallington, CEO of Cornes in Japan; and Stephen Chin, Vice President of State Insurance Brokers in Malaysia.
Commenting on the appointment, José Manuel Fonseca, President and CEO of Brokerslink, noted that Thakker has been “an active and passionate member of the Brokerslink network for almost ten years” and expressed confidence that his leadership will strengthen collaboration and innovation in the region. Fonseca also thanked Kang for his contributions in elevating Brokerslink’s profile and driving new growth opportunities across the Asia Pacific.
