Chubb Life Hong Kong has hired Carlie Chan as its new Chief Compliance Officer, while elevating Davey Wong to Head of Risk Management, the company announced on LinkedIn Friday, 4 July.
Chan joins from Prudential, where she spent over 10 years, most recently as Senior Director for Compliance.
She brings her extensive experience in regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering and sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and financial crime investigation. Chan also held previous roles at HSBC, Ernst and Young, Deloitte Consulting, and FTI Consulting.
From his current post as Chubb’s Head of Valuation, Wong has been promoted after 5 years, building on his expertise as a qualified actuary. Wong worked for major firms such as AIA, KPMG, Manulife, FWD Insurance, and PwC.
In June, Chubb announced the promotion of James Brown to Head of Major Accounts for Asia. The business also made key leadership changes in its Australia global broker division: Jennifer Vanek as National Strategic Relationship Manager, and John De Felice and Ryan Spettigue as National Relationship Managers.
