Chubb names Marcos Gunn as next Head of Asia Pacific

Chubb on Tuesday announced that Marcos Gunn has been promoted to Head of Asia Pacific, with immediate effect.

Gunn had been serving as Senior Vice President of Chubb Group and Regional President of Latin America and succeeded Paul McNamee, who Chubb has named Executive Vice President of Chubb Group and President of Overseas General Insurance. Gunn will relocate from Miami to Singapore for the new role and report directly to McNamee.

Gunn has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and was appointed Senior Vice President of Chubb Group and Regional President of Latin America in 2019.

He originally joined Chubb in 2000 and has held various management roles, including Country President of Chile, Regional Vice President of Accident and Health (A&H) for Latin America, Regional Vice President of A&H for Asia Pacific, President of the Northern Latin America Region, and Chief Operating Officer for Chubb’s Latin America operations.
