QBE Australia Pacific has made another key promotion with Patricia Priest as Chief Underwriting and Transformation Officer, the company announced on Friday, 27 June.
Priest first joined QBE in 2020 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. She has since worked as General Manager for the firm’s LMI and Commercial Insurance until her recent appointment.
With over 16 years of experience in the financial and insurance sectors, she has worked at Deloitte, Aon, Zurich Financial Services Australia, Munich Re, NobleOak Life, and SCOR.
On stepping up to the role, Priest said: “I’m looking forward to helping drive the continued modernisation of our business and making a meaningful impact for our customers and the communities we serve.”
On 26 June, QBE Australia Pacific also promoted Jo Hatcher to Managing Director, Consumer after 6 years at the company.
