Jo Hatcher is moving up as Managing Director, Consumer for Australia Pacific at QBE Insurance, the company announced on LinkedIn 26 June (Thursday).
Hatcher has worked for QBE since 2019, taking up Sydney-based roles as General Manager for Direct and Digital, and later for Small and Medium Enterprises and Digital Innovation.
She brings over 20 years of industry experience, previously holding senior positions at IAG, SunCorp, and AAMI. Her background includes customer delivery, retail business insurance, digital distribution, operations, and personal insurance.
Commenting on her appointment, Hatcher said she was pleased to be stepping into the new role: “I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue driving innovative and future-focused solutions that improve customer experience.”
This promotion follows the appointment of Sebastian Tjornelund as QBE’s Interim Head of Marine for Asia, earlier this month.
