Chubb has promoted James Brown to Head of Major Accounts for Asia, the company announced on LinkedIn on Monday.
Brown will take on this expanded leadership role while continuing as Head of Global Broking, Asia. He succeeds Doug White, who held the Major Accounts position for seven years before being appointed to the strategic role of Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific.
In his new capacity, Brown will have a focus on managing and growing Chubb’s Major Accounts division. “He will drive business direction, collaborate on strategic plans, and bring the best of Chubb’s value proposition to clients across Asia,” Chubb said in its statement.
Singapore-based Brown has been with Chubb for eight years and previously he spent nearly five years with Zurich in London, according to LinkedIn.
His promotion follows a series of recent leadership appointments at Chubb in Asia Pacific over the last two months. Along with Brown and White’s new appointments, Janene Blizzard was named Head of A&H for APAC, Alex Wong Chief Customer Proposition Officer in Hong Kong, and Titus Samuel as Head of Power and Construction for Asia.
