Chubb has named Titus Samuel as Head of Power and Construction for Asia, the company announced in a LinkedIn update.

Samuel has worked at Chubb in Asia Pacific for nearly 16 years, specialising in underwriting operational power generation assets. In his newly expanded role, he will combine his role as Head of Power Generation and Utilities with a new focus on the Construction sector.

“As we continue to adapt to the evolving market in Asia, Titus will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of these two product lines and building out the team to service the growing needs of our key partners and stakeholders across the region,” Chubb said in its announcement.

Prior to Chubb, Samuel’s past roles include time at Liberty International Underwriters and engineering experience in positions at Alstom Power, Technip, and KTA Tenaga in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Samuel’s appointment follows a series of recent leadership changes at Chubb in Asia, including Janene Blizzard’s move to Regional Head of Accident & Health for Asia Pacific and new senior appointments in the Hong Kong office.
