Chubb has promoted Jeremy Lai to head of cyber and technology practice and Lulu Tsai to head of marine and specialty for its P&C business in Hong Kong, the business announced on Friday.
Lai has been with the company for over seven years, most recently serving as cyber & technology practice lead and senior underwriter, industry practices. He also held underwriting roles across casualty, major accounts and industry practices, covering areas including cyber, technology, general liability and workers’ compensation.
“Jeremy has consistently delivered strong performance and valuable contributions, with deep expertise across Cyber, Casualty, and Industry Practices,” Douglas Wong, Chubb Hong Kong’s head of property & casualty, said.
Tsai has also been with Chubb for over seven years, having previously served as senior underwriter for marine and specialty. Prior to Chubb, she worked with XL Catlin and Cathay Century Insurance.
“Lulu has developed strong product and underwriting expertise across Cargo, Freight Forwarders Liability, Hull, and Fine Art & Specie, and has earned the trust and respect of both colleagues and the market,” Wong noted in the announcement.
The promotions follow several recent leadership moves across Chubb’s Asia-Pacific operations. In late August, the insurer promoted Candy Huang to lead its financial lines business across Southeast Asia. The insurer also named Jon Longmore as country president of New Zealand and Gurudutt Joglekar as country president of Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad.
