International Insurtech firm bolttech has strengthened its Singapore team with the appointments of Jeremy Khaw and Mandy Liaw.
Khaw joins bolttech as director of business development and operations, while Liaw takes on the role of agency manager for general insurance partnerships and business development, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Khaw brings deep experience across insurance broking, commercial insurance and business development. He is joining the Insurtech after three years as chief operating officer and head of specialty at AWG Insurance Brokers. He previously held managerial roles at Coface and Allianz.
Liaw has more than a decade of experience spanning underwriting, agency distribution and partnership management. Her previous roles include positions at Allianz and Sompo Insurance Singapore.
The latest appointments follow the Hong Kong-based insurer’s leadership expansion across Asia. Most recently, bolttech appointed Rohith Murthy, former CEO of MoneyHero Group, as general manager of its Malaysia business.
The insurtech also recently named Kohei Watanabe as general manager for Japan, where he will lead the company’s business strategy across domestic and international operations.
Furthermore, Fitch Ratings recently affirmed the financial strength rating of bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) at “BBB+” with a stable outlook. The rating agency expects the insurer’s underwriting performance to recover in 2026 following losses tied to motor claims, catastrophes and higher operating costs.
