Euclid Transactional, a managing general agent (MGA) focused on transactional insurance underwriting and claims handling, has appointed Wai Ling Low as Senior Vice President and Tax Underwriter in Asia Pacific — its first tax underwriter to be based in the region.

Low moves from EY Singapore, where she worked as Associate Partner. She joins Euclid Transactional’s Singapore-based APAC team, which advises on M&A transactions, tax, and contingent risks.

In her new role, Low will be responsible for underwriting specific tax liability risks and will support the firm’s broker partners in APAC. She reports to Chris Waddington, Managing Director and Head of Tax for EMEA and APAC.

Low has 14 years of experience advising on international tax matters, corporate restructuring, and M&A. She previously worked at PwC and is an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals. She holds a BBA in Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.

“We are very excited to have Wai Ling join Euclid Transactional’s global tax insurance team, which allows us to offer local tax underwriting capabilities in the APAC region for the first time,” said Waddington.
