Everest Insurance appoints Scott Leney as Head of APAC to boost regional presence

Leney will join from Marsh where he is currently Head of Risk Management for APAC.

Everest Insurance has appointed Scott Leney as the new Head of Asia Pacific for its International Division, effective from November 6th.

In his new role, Leney will oversee the business strategy and portfolio growth in the region as Everest aims to enhance its footprint in the Asia Pacific region.

Leney has a 30-year career in leading global risk management teams throughout the Asia Pacific region. Most recently he was Head of Risk Management for APAC at Marsh and prior he was CEO of Marsh Australia and CEO of Marsh Pacific.

“Scott’s deep industry and regional expertise, coupled with his strong leadership uniquely positions Everest to meet our clients’ growing needs across Asia Pacific,” said Adam Clifford, co-lead of Everest Insurance International.

Leney will continue to be based out of Sydney.
