Jack Jiang has been appointed into the newly created chief commercial officer role at Chubb Life, the company announced on LinkedIn on Thursday. He will report to Bryce Johns, president of Chubb Life and senior vice president at Chubb Group.
Jiang joins from AIA China, where he was most recently deputy general manager and general manager of the company’s Guangdong branch. He was also previously chief customer officer, chief partnership distribution officer, and head of high net worth at the firm.
Bringing more than 20 years experience into his new role, Jiang will lead the insurer’s growth and acceleration agenda, overseeing distribution, strategy, customer engagement, product development, and strategic partnerships. His key early focus will be driving the execution of the company’s growth strategy across Greater China markets.
“With this newly created role and Jack’s impeccable track record, we are taking a catalytic step forward, with regard to accelerating our growth agenda,” said Johns.
Jiang’s appointment follows key appointments in Asia-Pacific for the insurer in the last month: Naresh Krishnan as president director of PT Chubb Life Insurance Indonesia (Chubb Life Indonesia), Jin Lee as executive vice president and general counsel, global life and general insurance, APAC, and Mark Eggleton as senior VP and general counsel, legal strategy and government affairs, APAC.
