Marsh McLennan has announced it will rebrand as Marsh, effective January 2026, with four existing businesses adopting the new brand after a transition period ending in 2027: Marsh, Mercer, Guy Carpenter, and Oliver Wyman.
The new Marsh brand will cover the company’s operations across risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting.
Following the transition, Marsh and Mercer will operate under the Marsh brand. Guy Carpenter will become Marsh Re. Oliver Wyman will go to market as Oliver Wyman, a Marsh business, and the operating unit, Oliver Wyman Group, will become Marsh Management Consulting.
The company will also launch a new Business and Client Services (BCS) unit to centralise investments in technology, data, AI, and analytics, with Paul Beswick, Chief Information and Operations Officer, leading the unit. “The rapid development of AI, and the insights it can derive from our data, will help unlock new opportunities for our clients and colleagues,” Beswick said.
Commenting on the branding strategy, John Doyle, President and CEO of Marsh McLennan, said: “The new Marsh brand will also symbolise everything our company has to offer: a distinct combination of capabilities in professional services, scale and specialisation for clients, enabled by cutting-edge AI and analytics.”
John Jones, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, added that “Unifying under one brand will accelerate the impact we deliver to the marketplace and give clients even greater confidence to thrive through the power of perspective.”
The company’s stock ticker will also change to “MRSH” as of January 2026.
