The Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA) has appointed PartnerRe Asia Pacific CEO James Beedle as chair, according to a LinkedIn announcement on 23 February.
Previously the deputy chair of the SRA, Beedle succeeds Kenrick Law, who was appointed chair in late 2024. Law left his post as APAC CEO of Allianz Re in December 2025 after 12 years in the position.
Beedle joined PartnerRe in 2017 and brings more than 35 years of industry experience to the new role. Earlier in his career, he worked in senior roles across Willis’ reinsurance businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, spanning Australia, Japan, and Singapore.
“With his deep industry knowledge and strong focus on collaboration, James will continue to build on SRA’s role as a platform for engagement, knowledge exchange and collective progress across the reinsurance community,” the association said.
