The Singapore Reinsurers’ Association (SRA) on Friday announced an official changing of the guard with Kenrick Law appointed as Chair and James Beedle as Deputy Chair, effective immediately.
Law succeeds Marc Haushofer, who has led the SRA for the past eight years. In a statement on LinkedIn, the association acknowledged the impact of Haushofer’s tenure, commenting, “our deepest gratitude to Marc for his unwavering commitment and leadership throughout the years with the SRA.”
The association also expressed confidence in the new leadership, adding, “As trusted voices in the reinsurance industry, we are confident that both gentlemen will continue bringing SRA to new heights.”
Law is the Regional CEO & Head of P&C Client Management at Allianz Reinsurance, while Beedle serves as CEO of Asia Pacific at PartnerRe.
The SRA are the organisers of the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) 2024, which takes place from Monday, 4 Nov at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre.
On Wednesday, and as part of SIRC’s programme, there will be an official passing of the torch session, with comments from both Haushofer and Law.
