Zurich Hong Kong promotes Clement Hau to Chief Underwriting Officer

Clement Hau will succeed Anthony Seeto, assuming the role of CUO on 26 Feb.

Zurich Hong Kong has appointed Clement Hau as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), effective 26 Feb.

Hau joined the company in 2011 and will step up from his current role Head of Retail Services role, taking on the CUO position that Anthony Seeto is set to vacate.

In an announcement on its LinkedIn company page, Zurich said Hau had contributed notably to the growth and development of the retail property and specialty business segments. The Swiss insurer also thanked the outgoing Seeto for his commitment and leadership during his commercial insurance and underwriting roles over the last few years.

Hau also serves as a Council member of the General Insurance Council and Chairman of the Fire Insurance Association of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI).
