HDI Global has named Jeremy Wang as Underwriting Manager, Financial Lines, with effect from October 2025, according to a company announcement on LinkedIn, as the commercial insurer looks to build its financial presence in Asia.
Singapore-based Wang moves to HDI after over 6 years with BHSI and brings with him more than 13 years of experience in Financial Lines.
“Jeremy’s leadership and vision will be instrumental as we establish and grow Financial Lines in our Singapore hub,” HDI said in its announcement.
The move coincides with a number of senior underwriting appointments in Asia Pacific over the last month. In Australia, Vijay Brundavanam was named Senior Engineering Underwriter in Melbourne and Peter Button as Underwriting Manager for professional lines in NSW, ACT. In early October, the business also appointed Kunihiko Suzuki as Senior Liability Underwriter in Japan.
