HDI Global announced on LinkedIn on Friday that Kunihiko Suzuki has joined its Japan team as Manager, Senior Underwriter, Liability.

Suzuki has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a background that includes casualty underwriting and reinsurance management.

“Kunihiko brings not only deep expertise but also a thoughtful and collaborative spirit that will strengthen our team,” the company said in its announcement.

Suzuki’s appointment follows a number of key appointments in Asia Pacific in recent months, including in Hong Kong where Mani Tsang was recently appointed Claims Manager and Steven Tang as Underwriting Manager, as well as Australia where Tom Hansen was named Senior Liability Underwriter. The group also recently reported 7% growth in global insurance revenue in the first half of 2025.
