HDI appoints Mani Tsang as Claims Manager in Hong Kong

Former AXA XL specialist brings a decade of expertise to enhance regional service delivery.

HDI Global SE has appointed Mani Tsang as Claims Manager for its Hong Kong team, the industrial insurer announced on LinkedIn on Monday.

Tsang joins HDI from AXA XL, where she spent over five years, most recently as Senior Claims Specialist handling property, energy, construction, liability, fine art and specie claims across Asia. She brings more than 10 years of experience in claims management across property, construction, energy, and liability sectors.

Prior to her senior role at AXA XL, Tsang worked as Claims Specialist at the same company from February 2020 to April 2022 In her new role, Tsang will focus on delivering claims solutions to enhance HDI’s client services across the region.

“With over 10 years of experience in claims management across property, construction, energy, and liability sectors, Mani brings a wealth of expertise and a client-centric approach to HDI,” said Michael Ahn, Chief Executive.

Tsang’s appointment continues HDI’s recent expansion in the region, following the company’s appointment of Steven Tang as Underwriting Manager and Chris Yang as Senior Underwriter for its Hong Kong engineering team earlier this month, and Tom Hansen as Senior Liability Underwriter for its Brisbane office in August.
