HDI Global has appointed Kei Kimura as general manager of distribution and marketing at its Japan branch, effective 1 October 2026, the company announced on Friday.
“Kei brings extensive international leadership experience and a strong track record of driving business growth, developing high-performing teams, and building lasting client partnerships”, the insurer said on LinkedIn.
HDI Global has continued to strengthen its Japanese team in 2026, including appointing Takatoshi Fukumoto as senior risk engineer and deputy general manager of risk engineering, and Hiro Yamasaki as managing director and legal representative.
The appointments come as HDI Global advances its Asia Pacific expansion plans, with the commercial and speciality insurer targeting further growth in international programmes, captive solutions and renewable energy. The insurer also opened a representative office in Seoul in January.
