Hong Kong digital insurer Bowtie has secured naming rights for the newly branded “Bowtie Life Insurance Tower” on Johnston Road in Wan Chai, which will become its new headquarters from February 2026.
In a press release issued on Thursday, 11 December, the company said its five-year, seven-floor lease at the building is intended to support its next phase of business development.
Fred Ngan, Bowtie Co-founder, described this as a strategic branding milestone. “By combining branding assets such as building naming rights, prominent exterior signage, YouTube production areas, and a branded coffee shop, we are bringing our digital presence into the physical world. We believe this holistic approach to brand storytelling and visibility builds trust far more effectively than conventional advertising.”
Bowtie, Hong Kong’s first virtual insurer, has recently raised US$70m in Series C funding from Sun Life Hong Kong Limited this July–the largest investment for an Asian digital health insurer with a direct-to-consumer model.
