Howden has appointed Susan Panuccio as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective 6 January 2026 the global insurance intermediary group announced through a press release on Tuesday.
Panuccio, who has held senior leadership positions across Australia, the UK, and US, will take on the global role after more than two decades with News Corp, most recently as Chief Financial Officer.
She will replace Mark Craig, who held the role for the past six years and will transition to the newly created role Chief Investment Officer. Panuccio brings more than 30 years of global financial leadership experience to Howden and held positions at AngloGold Ashanti and Ansett Australia, and began her career as an accountant with KPMG.
CEO David Howden said Panuccio brings “sharp commercial acumen, rich experience of transformation and growth in a US-listed global company.”
Panuccio’s appointment follows other recent senior hires across Howden’s operations, including Rebecca Poon as Chief Client Officer for Hong Kong and Vladimir Ljubisavljevic as Divisional Director for the Marine practice in Asia.
