KPMG China has appointed two senior insurance leaders, Mark Longworth and Tan Hussain, to its Hong Kong and regional advisory team, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Mark Longworth, who has been with KPMG for over 30 years, has taken on the Global Head of Insurance Advisory role for KPMG China. His career at KPMG UK involved aiding clients with large-scale transformations across the front, middle, and back office, KPMG said in its announcement.
Tan Hussain joins KPMG as the Actuarial Modelling leader. Before his move, Hussain was based in London and was Global Modelling Advisory leader for FIS. He spent eight years at FIS and another decade at SunGard, before its acquisition by FIS, along with a five-year tenure at Deloitte.
Erik Bleekrode, KPMG’s Regional Head of Insurance, expressed enthusiasm for the new appointments, stating, “Adding two lifelong insurance heavyweights to our team is a testament to the importance of the industry in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific and the value we want to add to the transformation journeys that many of our clients are on.”
