Lockton has promoted Harssh Chhaajer to Power & Energy (PE) Growth Leader for Asia, while concurrently setting up a Regional Power & Energy Steering Committee (RPESC) as part of its growth strategy in the region, the global broker announced on Thursday, 20 November.
Lockton said the RPESC aims to foster regional expertise and collaboration; develop innovative, customised strategies for clients; facilitate cross-border collaboration; and create solutions that adapt to client and industry needs.
The committee bring together senior leaders from across Asia, including Carol Chan, Head of Real Estate & Construction, Power & Energy, Greater China, and Julio Camanag, Deputy CEO, Thailand, who will serve as co-chairs.
It will also include senior representatives from India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and South Korea, as well as Piers Hughes, Head of Placement, Asia, and Michael Bogdan, Partner at Lockton Global Energy (LGE).
Speaking on Chhaajer’s appointment, the business said, “We are confident that his leadership and vision will bring tremendous value to the Power & Energy Practice and contribute to the success of Lockton’s One Asia Strategy.”
