Aon has appointed Vincent Shih as Head of Treaty Reinsurance in Taiwan, effective immediately, the global broker announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday.
Shih, a long-serving Aon group employee, brings more than 18 years of experience in the reinsurance treaty business and is “widely recognised for his deep market knowledge, strong client relationships and commitment to delivering strategic solutions,” the business said in its announcement.
The appointment follows a series of leadership appointments by Aon in the region over the last month, including Simon Chisholm as Asia Reinsurance Solutions Chairman, the promotion of Joe Gardner to Broking Leader, Crisis Management, and the selection of Wee Teck Tea as the business’s Head of Commercial Risk in Singapore.
