Aon has appointed Vivian Zhang as regional director of financial sponsors for Asia Pacific, the broker announced on Thursday.
Based in Hong Kong, Zhang joins Aon after more than seven years at GLG, where she most recently served as head of Greater China. She also worked at Bloomberg earlier in her career.
“Vivian brings more than a decade of experience across financial services, business development and strategic growth, with deep experience in private equity and the Greater China market,” Jane Drummond, the broker’s chief commercial officer for APAC, said on LinkedIn.
Aon has announced multiple senior appointments across its Asia Pacific business this year, including Sumit Sachdeva as global enterprise leader in India.
The broker has also made two leadership appointments for its Japan Global Solutions (JGS) network, naming Naoki Kido as global head and Yuki Tanemura as global chief commercial officer and head of North America.
