Aon announced on Tuesday that Jane Drummond, the broker’s current chief commercial officer for Asia Pacific, will be promoted to global chief commercial officer from 1 January 2027.
Drummond will relocate to Chicago for the role, where she will join the Aon Executive Committee and report to Andy Marcell, deputy CEO and SEVP, risk capital and human capital. She succeeds Anne Corona, who became CEO of North America for Aon in March 2026.
In her new role, Drummond will lead Aon’s global go-to-market strategy, sales execution and growth across its global solution lines, the broker said. She will also lead its Global Growth Committee, which brings together regional and solution line chief commercial officers with leaders from sales enablement, marketing and bid and proposal management.

Drummond joined Aon in 2009 when she relocated to Singapore with the broker. Since then, she has held a number of senior roles, including regional head of sales and marketing for Asia from 2013 and chief client officer for commercial risk, health and affinity from 2020, before becoming chief commercial officer for Asia Pacific in October 2021. She also recently served as interim head of Southeast Asia.
Before Aon, she was business development director for power, utilities and mining at Marsh from 1998 to 2006, then a partner at London broker Oxygen Insurance Brokers.
Drummond’s move follows a run of senior changes across Aon’s Asia Pacific business this year. In May the broker named Richard Tan and Maggie Hsieh chief commercial officers for Southeast Asia and North Asia, appointments Drummond herself announced. It has since hired Sean Deehan from WTW to lead its strategy and technology group in Asia Pacific and named Joe Liang executive chairman of Greater China for its reinsurance business.
