Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has named Preeti Sawalani as Head of Customer & Distribution Management, Southeast Asia, effective September 1, 2025.
Sawalani, who has been with the group for nine years, is relocating back to Singapore to take on the new role, transitioning from her position as Head of Global Customer Management at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in London, where she spearheaded global initiatives enhancing client value and sales effectiveness.
In her new role, Sawalani will lead customer and distribution strategy across Southeast Asia, working with internal teams and external partners to manage broker relationships and support commercial activities in key markets.
Sawalani’s appointment follows other recent leadership changes at Swiss Re, including Stephen Abrokwah’s naming as Head of Life & Health Japan and the reinsurer’s warning that 2025 natural catastrophe losses could exceed US$150 billion amid rising claims from events across Asia Pacific and other regions.
