Aon has promoted Darren Oliver to the Head of the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam with immediate effect, the company announced in a statement on LinkedIn. Oliver was previously serving as the Head of Aon Philippines and will extend his leadership to cover a new sub-region comprising the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The move comes with Aon announcing three strategic appointments as part of an internal restructuring aimed at enhancing its operational efficiency and market focus across Asia, which has led to the creation of three new sub-regions.

Along with Oliver, Andrew Minnitt is taking on the leadership role for Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia and Tracy Lee Kus has been announced as the Head of North Asia.

Based in Manila, Oliver reports to Anne Corona, Chief Executive Officer of Aon for Asia Pacific. His new role will also see him join the Aon Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

In his new capacity, Oliver will also collaborate closely with Quyen Nguyen, Head of Vietnam, and William Pembroke, Head of Aon Thailand, as they look to advance the ‘Aon United’ strategy, which focuses on fostering unity and coherence across the firm’s global operations to improve service delivery.
