Aon has appointed Wilber Siu as director of business development at its Hong Kong office, according to a LinkedIn post by company director and head of growth Naureen Z. Rasul.
Siu joins Aon after spending five years at Marsh, where he most recently served as an assistant vice president in business development. He also previously worked at GUM as assistant manager for business development.
In his new role, Siu will focus on developing growth opportunities across health and commercial risk. He will also work on strengthening client relationships across key industry sectors in Hong Kong and collaborating across Aon’s risk, health, and people capabilities to support clients.
“With nine years of experience in corporate risk, insurance, and employee benefits, Wilber has a strong background in helping organizations manage volatility and protect their people and assets,” Rasul said in her announcement.
The appointment follows other recent APAC moves by Aon, including Kulshaan Singh’s appointment as enterprise client leader for Asia-Pacific, Penny Chua as head of marine claims advocacy for Asia, Neelay Patel as Malaysia country CEO, Avishek B Rath as head of growth for facultative reinsurance in India, and Neha Shah as head of life and health reinsurance for India.
