Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Amanda Seng as Southern Region Property Underwriting Manager, effective immediately.

Melbourne-based Seng has over 20 years of experience in the Australian insurance industry and joins the business from Zurich, where she was a Senior Property Underwriter, Arch said in its announcement.

In her new role, Seng reports to Brendon Terry, National Property Underwriting Manager. She will manage underwriting activities across the insurer’s property portfolio for the Southern Region while also overseeing product development, the company said.

“We are delighted to welcome Amanda on board,” said Terry. “Her wealth of experience in both the general insurer and agency markets makes her a valuable addition to the team. She is highly respected in the market by both peers and brokers, and she will enable us to bolster our relevance and service proposition to brokers and clients in the Southern Region.”
