Luzanne Chong has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at HSBC Life Singapore, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Chong brings over 20 years of industry experience and joins the business from Prudential Singapore, where she worked for over five years, most recently as Head of Customer Experience. Her previous roles include time at FW Insurance and DBS Bank.
Chong is stepping into the newly created role, which “consolidates strategic planning, customer experience, and digital leadership under a unified commercial agenda,” HSBC said. As part of her new responsibilities, she will oversee the commercialisation of strategic initiatives across the company’s life and health insurance portfolios.
Chong’s appointment follows a similar announcement in June for HSBC Life’s Hong Kong business, where Stanley Tong was named CCO.
