Dan Elliot has been appointed as the Head of Cyber Resilience for Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) Australia, the company announced on Friday, September 6th.
Now based in Sydney, Elliot joined in July from ZRS Canada, where he served as Principal for Cyber Security Risk Advisory for almost two years.
Assuming the newly created role with ZRS Australia, Elliot will lead a new and dedicated cyber function, which focuses on providing businesses across the country with cyber risk intelligence and advisory services.
“I am delighted to lead and continue bolstering the ZRS Cyber Resilience unit in Australia,” Elliot commented on his appointment, adding: “As the threat and sophistication of cyber risk continues to rise, it is critical that businesses are equipped with the tools and knowledge required to navigate and build resilience in this complex environment.”
Elliot has over 17 years of experience in cyber security, working with numerous entities in Canada, including over six years with the Canadian Security Intelligence Service and over nine years with the Canada Border Services Agency.
